COURSE DESCRIPTION
This program is designed for those for whom English is a second language. The program will provide the students the knowledge and skills on how to use English correctly in business, commercial or administrative work. Students are given extensive instruction and practice in writing English and the Spoken English. Coursework will help develop the students’ speaking and conversational abilities.

The courses in this program will help students learn how to write good English and how to avoid common errors and mistakes. Grammar is explained in a very simple way. Students are taught how to develop a good writing style; how to use punctuation properly; how to spell and how to develop your vocabulary; how to write business letters; and how to apply knowledge gained in the real-world scenario. Students will also be taught the principles of business management and how to become an effective manager.

The spoken English training teaches the students to speak English clearly and distinctly and helps to build confidence when talking in English to others.

TUTORIALS/SEMINARS
During the tutorials or seminars, the student will work on case studies and discuss various strategies and techniques.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
This course requires a properly maintained computer with high-speed internet access and an up-to-date web browser (such as Chrome or Firefox) and must be capable of viewing or downloading videos. The student must be able to communicate with the instructor via email or skype.

This course uses an asynchronous mode and students are provided with tiered video and self-guided learning modules. Live online interaction with the instructor can be arranged. The “on-site” classroom works on standard computers and instructor-led exercises, seminars, and workshops if applicable.

Most course lectures may be viewed on mobile devices, but in some cases, assignments and quizzes must be completed on a desktop or laptop computer.
END OF COURSE REQUIREMENTS
In fulfillment of the course, students are required to take the final examination, as well as an end-of-course project or research paper.
