COURSE DESCRIPTION
This dual qualification program is designed for those who are seeking for an opportunity to gain knowledge in Business Management and use of Information Technology for business development. This program enable learners to understand different types of businesses, their functions and structures, as well as an introduction to basic marketing principles and customer service. They will be required to explore the micro and macro business environment, understand the concept of quality and carry out basic business analyses.
And familiarize learners with the use, application and development of core IT skills, including preparation for presentations, and formats for business writing such as a report.

ASSESSMENTS
- All units are assessed by examination or written assignments.
- To achieve a ‘pass’ for a unit, learners must provide evidence to demonstrate that they have fulfilled all the learning outcomes and meet the standards specified by all assessment criteria. Judgement that the learners have successfully fulfilled the assessment criteria is made by the Assessor.
- The Assessor should provide an audit trail showing how the judgement of the learners’ overall achievement has been arrived at.
